The Viking houses take a winter break until 31.03.19 and are therefore closed.
- Reduced prices are valid for: students, apprentices, the disabled, receivers of ALG II [a type of German unemployment benefit], voluntary services participants – respectively with valid documentation.
- Family ticket: two adults with children of up to 17.
- Children of up to 6 do not pay entrance fees.
Information for your visit
The Viking Museum Haithabu consists of an exhibition house and an open air area with reconstructed Viking houses. The car park is located close to the exhibition house. You should plan a 20-minute walk from the car park to the reconstructed Viking houses.

When booking, we advise you to notify us of any disabilities of individuals participating, in which case it is then possible to drive directly to the reconstructed houses. Additionally, may we draw your attention to the fact that parking spaces for the disabled are available at the museum and the reconstructed Viking houses.
